NL Hosts U18 Major Atlantic Championships

The U18 Major Atlantic Championships are back in Newfoundland and Labrador. The event is being played at the Paradise Double Ice Complex Thursday, April 21 to Sunday, April 24, 2022, hosted by the East Coast Blizzard.

Two NLU18MHL clubs will compete for the Atlantic crown. The Blizzard qualified automatically as the host team, while the Pinnacle Growlers captured the playoff championship in a 6 game final series over the Tri Pen Osprey.

The rest of the field is made up of the Nova Scotia champions, the Halifax McDonalds, the PEI champions, the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Knights, and the New Brunswick champions, the Moncton Rallye Motors Nissan Flyers.

Tickets are on sale now at the Double Ice Complex in Paradise. It's $10 for a day pass, or $25 for a tournament pass. Seniors, and U9 players in their minor hockey jersey, get in for $5. Sunday's Championship Game (11am) is $10.
